Doctor Biography

Education: Prof. Dr. Md. Zan-E-Alam Mridha completed his MBBS from Sir Salimullah Medical College, Dhaka under Dhaka University in 1993. He completed MCPS from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed MS (Ophthalmology) BMU, Dhaka. He completed his long term fellowship (15 months) in Pediatric ophthalmology & Strabismus from IIEH, Dhaka and LV Prasad eye institute, Hyderabad, India.

Clinical interest:: Comprehensive pediatric eye care, Strabismus, Cataract, Amblyopia, Congenital nasolacrimal duct obstruction (CNLDO), ROP, Refractive error, PHACO and LASER procedures.

Experience: : Prof. Dr. Md. Zan-E-Alam Mridha has served in different capacities in different hospitals which includes as a Director of 500 bedded National institute of ophthalmology, Dhaka. Ispahani Islamia eye hospital, Dhaka and Bangladesh Medical University, Dhaka.

Publications, seminars & conference: Interested in research, Prof. Dr. Md. Zan-E-Alam Mridha is the author & co-author of about 12 scientific papers published in different journals. He presented different scientific papers in many conferences & CME programs.

Professional membership:Life member & member secretary of scientific subcommittee of OSB. Founder life member & PRESIDENT elect of association of pediatric ophthalmology & Strabismus, Bangladesh (APOSB). HONORARY SECRETARY of Bangladesh Academy of Ophthalmology (BAO). Life member of Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA).

Mission: To provide world standard pediatric eye care.
